Starting off a New Year right, or what I would think is the right way, one would first want to reflect on their past acheivements and failures, and whether or not they met "Plan" -- the goals set for that period of time.

Being honest with ones self plays a major roll here to.  If you aren't the type to set and write down short-term and long-term goals, or if you're not the type of person that uses Technology to establish and track activities, it's really hard to grade what is in ones head.  But, it's your life and you can do...  Or not do what you want.

But let me share a saying and one that I refer to as the most powerful two-letter words to live by:

If It Is To Be, It Is Up To Me!

Sorry, but I don't know its author.  Or, for that matter, who or what exposed it to me.  All I know is that it's easy to remember and comes in real handy when things start to go south.  I know this, because I work with my hands and occationally utilize power tools and I still have all my original body parts.  Moreover, I have never broken a bone in my body.  This is not to say that I haven't tried to teach a few of my tools and projects how to fly, but as I am about to launch them I pause (most of the time) and consider an alternative action.

So, what's it going to be for you in 2012?
