Altman’s.  Those glory days of shopping are long gone but I still have the memories of getting ‘dressed up’ (imagine that) and my dear Mom driving us out there for a girl’s day together. I still have a treasure trove of things she purchased for me at B. Altman’s - even down to the monogrammed finger tip towels they sold on the second floor. Then it was over to the Treadway for lunch! Remember what major store was located across from B. Altman’s?
